An 80-Year-Old’s Amazing Feat: Building a Dog Train to Give Stray Dogs the Adventure of a Lifetime.

Eugene Bostick, an 80-year-old from Fort Worth, Texas, built a unique dog train to give rescued stray dogs rides around the neighborhood and woods. Eugene spends his days running this special train and enjoying time with the dogs.

Eugene and his brother Corky live on a dead-end street where people often abandon their unwanted dogs. Eugene decided to help by taking care of these dogs. He used his tractor to give them rides, fed them, took them to the vet, and made a home for them. His story shows how one person can make a big difference for animals in need.

Inspired by seeing a man use a tractor to pull carts filled with rocks, Eugene thought he could do something similar for dogs. Skilled at welding, he used plastic barrels, cut holes in them, added wheels, and connected them to make his dog train. The dogs get excited every time they hear Eugene hooking up the carts to the tractor.
