Top 3 of FBI’s Most Wanted Criminals

The FBI’s Most Wanted List is a list of the most dangerous criminals worldwide.

These criminals are wanted for various crimes like murder, terrorism, drug trafficking, and white-collar crime.

Let’s zoom in on three of the top criminals on the FBI’s list, including two men and the first woman to be listed.

#3: D.B Cooper

D.B. Cooper, also known as Dan Cooper, is one of the most infamous criminals in American history.

He became famous for taking over a Northwest Orient Airlines flight from Portland, Oregon to Seattle, Washington on November 24, 1971.

When he got on the plane that day, he said he had a bomb in his briefcase. He asked for $200,000 and four parachutes. When the plane landed in Seattle, he let the passengers go in exchange for the money and parachutes, then told the plane to fly again.

While the plane was flying, Cooper leaped out with the money and vanished. Even though they looked for him a lot and investigated, they never figured out who Cooper was or where he went. Nobody knows if he made it after he jumped or if something happened to him when he landed.

For more than forty years, the FBI has been trying hard to solve the case, but they haven’t been successful. It’s one of the FBI’s biggest mysteries. In 2016, they said they were done looking into it because they didn’t have any new clues or progress in the case.

#2 Ruth Eisemann-Schier

Ruth Eisemann-Schier is a notable figure in the history of the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list as she was the first woman to appear on it.

Eisemann-Schier was born in Honduras. In the 1960s, she moved to the United States to study biochemistry at the graduate level.

In 1968, Eisemann-Schier and her partner Gary Steven Krist kidnapped a wealthy tobacco heiress named Barbara Jane Mackle.

The kidnappers buried Mackle alive in a box underground. They gave her an air pipe and a battery-powered lamp. They asked for $500,000 to set her free.

After getting the money, Eisemann-Schier and Krist were caught by the FBI in Florida. Eisemann-Schier made history as the first woman on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

#3 Dawood Ibrahim

Dawood Ibrahim is a notorious Indian gangster and the leader of the D-Company, a powerful organized crime syndicate based in Mumbai, India.

He’s one of the world’s most wanted criminals and has been hiding from the police for a long time.

Ibrahim is accused of doing a lot of bad things like selling drugs, making people pay him money, washing dirty money, and doing terrorism.

They think he knows people in different terrorist groups, including Al-Qaeda, and they say he helped with the bombing in Bombay in 1993 that killed more than 250 people.

Even though he’s been running from the police for a long time, Ibrahim still seems really important and powerful in the criminal world.

They say he’s worth a lot of money, maybe billions, and he’s got big business deals in India and other places around the world.
